Upload File

Files are assets that are document-based. A perfect example is a PDF. The first thing you need to do is upload the file.

There are several places to start the upload file process:

Upload File Link on the Assets dropdown menu Upload File Button on the menu in the File Manager File Manager Icon on the Content Editor
Upload File Link - Assets Dropdown Menu Upload File Button - File Manager Menu Bar Upload File Icon - Content Editor

Here's how to upload a file:

  1. Click Upload File Link, Button or Icon
  2. Choose Category - this is where the file will "live"
  3. Choose File - browse and select the file from your computer
  4. If provided the opportunity, add a description of the image in the Title and Alt fields - this is helpful for your users
  5. Optional: Click Add More if you want to upload more files at the same time
  6. Click Upload
From here you can follow the Insert File process to make the file display on your webpage.

Renaming a category is very similar to the Rename Page process. Here's how to do it.

Rename Page

Renaming a page is something that happens - either because you discovered a typo or you need to rename the page for SEO purposes. It's easy, here's how:

Upload File
Files are assets that are document-based. A perfect example is a PDF. The first thing you need to do is upload the file. Here's how.
Upload Image

In order for an image to display on a web page, it must be uploaded to the assets of the website. This creates a URL for the image that is referenced by the browser in order to display the image whenever it's called. OK, that may sound like techno-talk but it really is how the process works.

URL Aliases

An alias allows you to create a unique URL that directs traffic to another page. Often this new URL is shorter or more concise than the original URL of the page.

What's the Difference Between Add User and Invitations?

ClickWrite makes it easy to have other people help you build and administer your website. There are two ways to do this: Add User & Invitations. Each method has its benefits.

You get Style AND Substance
You get Targeted AND Mass Marketing
You get Global AND Local Reach

All with one system.

Who uses it?
